Plus or minus?

The A380plus aims for a more efficient superjumbo, but airlines remain quiet

Passengers love the A380. That much has been clear to Airbus and airlines for years. The problem is making the economics work when airlines don’t have the capability to charge more for A380 flights, particularly when only some passengers are willing to pay more for the A380 level of comfort.

The A380 is also a big investment, both in the cost of the aircraft and in the airport and terminal facilities for it, reducing the opportunities for expansion.
