Register review
Only one new type is shown in the New Allocations this month as well as lots of other interesting aircraft to talk about.
HVW is the first Kavanagh G-525 hot air balloon to be registered although it is the second G-525 to be produced. Both are being readied for pre-delivery testing at the company’s Ku-ring-gai, NSW, factory. As the name implies the G-525 has a 525,000 cubic foot (14,866 cubic metre) envelope with 28 vertical gores and is 30 panels high. Its basket will carry up to 24 people. When testing is complete HVW will be delivered to The International Balloon Flight Company at Cessnock, NSW.
