There is political and policy inaction across many fronts

A peculiar state of government-driven uncertainty is affecting the industry at the moment, despite a very good agricultural season outlook and a very positive last-year result.

While most of the industry have low expectations of government and regularly prepare for disappointment – based on previous performance – the current vacant stares in response to suggestions for political and policy action do not auger well for coming years.
