On the right path
Encouraging signs from CASA
As announced by Minister Chester in October last year, the General Aviation Advisory Group has been established and the RAAA have been invited to become a member of the group. This is recognition of the expertise and broad representation that the RAAA can bring to the table.
This is a great opportunity to articulate and table those issues placing greatest pressure on the GA sector. More importantly, to propose ways in which the government and industry can work together to respond to those pressures in a pragmatic way. Significantly, this Group will provide direct input to the Minister on matters that may have been languishing under existing consultative processes.
