New and “improved”
Not all change is for the better
Thankfully the election is over. What a non-event that was, with no clear winner for some time. Those in aviation will be used to all that. All froth and bubble but no substance.
At my local election booth I asked all three major parties what their policy was in relation to aviation, general aviation in particular. The replies were akin to the ‘Three Stooges go to Town’. All three greeted me with looks of disbelief. All three said “we are looking after the people” but when I again asked about aviation and the fact that I am a commercial pilot with concern about the aviation sphere they went back to handing out dodgers about why one should vote for their party. In summary, no policy pertaining to GA. ‘What is general aviation?’ they could well ask.
