717-2K9 VH-YQX was delivered to Adelaide on February 7 by Southern Cross as SXA1290 with the aircraft following the same routing as taken by VH-YQY. Earlier then registered OH-BLN the 717-2K9 of Blue 1was ferried from Helsinki to Norwich on January 10 for painting in QantasLink colours. On completion OH-BLN returned to Helsinki on January 17.

Fokker 100 VH-NHC entered service with QantasLink on January 5 when it operated QF1650 from Perth to Karratha.

Fokker 100 VH-NHF departed Perth for Port Hedland and Seletar on January 27 for planned maintenance.

Fokker 100 VH-NHM which had been in Seletar since November 22 for planned maintenance (Traffic/January) returned to Perth on January 7.

Qantas re-commenced direct flights from Sydney to San Francisco on December 18 with 747-438ER VH-OEG operating the inaugural QF73.

747-438ER VH-OEF ferried from Sydney to Hong Kong as QF6015 on February 3 for planned maintenance.

Qantas 767-338ER aircraft are finding new homes at a rapid rate as the following shows.

Cargo Aircraft Management 767-338ER N373CM which is the former VH-OGG ferried from Victorville/CA to Liege and Tel Aviv on December 18/19 where the aircraft is currently being converted for freighter operation.

WestJet 767-338ER N326BC ex VH-OGL was delivered to Calgary from Lake Charles/LA on January 19. Later registered C-FWAD it entered passenger service with WestJet.

Westjet 767-338ER N328BC which is the former VH-OGN was delivered to Calgary from Lake Charles on November 20. Later registered C-GOGN it entered service with WestJet on December 7 from Calgary to Toronto.

Cargo Aircraft Management 767-338ER(F) N371CM ex VH-OGO was ferried from Tel Aviv to Cincinnati on November 12 after freighter conversion. The 767-338ER(F) which still carried the basic colours of Qantas entered service on November 21 from Cincinnati to Los Angeles.

767-338ER VH-OGR was cancelled from the register on December 16 and was then registered N208CR to SF Airlines on December 21.

767-338ER(BCF) N196CR ex VH-OGT was handed over to SF Airlines at Paya Lebar on December 18 after conversion to a freighter by ST Aerospace. Later registered B-7593 the 767-338ER(BCF) which is the first of four ex Qantas 767-338ER for SF Airlines was delivered to Shenzhen on January 11.

SF Airlines 767-338ER N207CR ex VH-OGU was ferried from Victorville to Honolulu and Paya Lebar on January 20/21. At Paya Lebar N207CR is being converted to a 767-338ER(BCF) by ST Aerospace.

767-338ER VH-OGV was cancelled from the register on January 18 before being registered N376CM to Cargo Aircraft Management on January 21. On February 5 N376CM departed storage at Victorville/CA for Wilmington/Ohio.

737-476 N230AG which is the former VH-TJE flew from Panama City to Miami on December 4 and there commenced conversion to a freighter for Aer Caribe.

Jetstar ferried Dash 8-315 VH-TQD as QLK6713 from Brisbane to Norfolk Island and Auckland on January 15. VH-TQD entered service in New Zealand on January 19 when it operated JQ355 from Auckland to Napier.

Dash 8-315 VH-TQK as QLK6713 ferried from Brisbane to Norfolk Island and Auckland on January 25 and the following day it entered service when it operated JQ375 from Auckland to Nelson. The arrival of VH-TQK in New Zealand brought the local Jetstar Dash 8-300 fleet to five these being VH-SBI, VH-TQD, VH-TQK, VH-TQL and VH-TQM.

Airline news

In this issue we report the delivery of an A330-300 to Fiji Airways, 737-800 to Air Vanuatu, 737-400(F) to Airwork, 737-300 to Nauru Airlines and three ATR 72-600 to ANZ Link/Mount Cook.

Air New Zealand ferried A320-232 ZK-OJN as NZ6003 into Auckland from Singapore and Cairns on December 11 after completing its planned maintenance.

ANZ Link/Mount Cook took delivery of ATR 72-600 ZK-MVH in Hamilton on December 24. The ferry flight which was contracted to Southern Cross as SXI1532 operated from Toulouse to Hamilton via Alexandria-Al Ain-Nagpur-Penang-Kupang and Brisbane. ZK-MVH entered service with ANZ Link on January 10 when it operated NZ5304 from Christchurch to Hamilton.

ATR 72-600 ZK-MVI was delivered to Hamilton on January 3. The ferry flight which was contracted to Southern Cross as SXI1536 operated from Toulouse to Hamilton via Cairo-Al Ain-Nagpur-Penang-Kupang and Brisbane. ZK-MVH entered service with ANZ Link on January 16 when it operated NZ5604 from Christchurch to Rotorua.

ATR 72-600 ZK-MVO which was ferried in its primer was initially delivered to Townsville on December 21 and there Flying Colours painted it in the current ANZ Link livery. The ferry flight which was contracted to Southern Cross as SXI1544 operated from Toulouse to Townsville via Alexandria-Al Ain-Nagpur-Penang and Kupang. After painting ZK-MVO ferried from Townsville to Brisbane and Christchurch on January 16.

ATR 72-500 ZK-MCA as NZ5970 ferried from Christchurch to Brisbane and Townsville on January 13 where on arrival it entered the Flying Colours hangar for painting. On January 30 ZK-MCA as NZ5971 returned to Christchurch from Townsville and Brisbane.

Air Niugini was planning to take delivery of Fokker 70 P2-ANT msn 11577 in Port Moresby in late February.

Fokker 70 PH-KZO msn 11538 which will be registered P2-ANU departed Amsterdam February 2 for Belgrade, Trabzon and Al Ain (arrive Feb 3) before continuing via ports to Seletar where further maintenance will be carried out before delivery to Air Niugini.

Air Niugini has terminated their lease on ATR 72-201(F) P2-PXZ with the aircraft being registered HB-AFS before departing Port Moresby on December 15 for Darwin and Denpasar. The ATR 72-201F which was leased from Farnair operated its ferry flight FAT9721.

Fokker 100 P2-ANE departed Port Moresby as PX6390 on January 12 on ferry to Darwin, Denpasar and Singapore for planned maintenance.

Air Vanuatu took delivery of 737-8SH/W YJ-AV8 ‘The Spirit of Vanuatu’ at Port Vila on February 1 after the aircraft ferried in from Boeing Field and Kona as AVN7116.

737-8SH/W YJ-AV8 entered service with Air Vanuatu on February 3 when it operated NF50 from Port Vila to Auckland.

Problems with the runway surface at Port Vila saw both Air New Zealand and Virgin Australia cease operations to Port Vila in mid-January.

Extra flights were operated by Nauru Airlines 737-319 VH-YNU which on January 23 operated AVN50 from Port Vila to Auckland and on January 24 AVN51 Auckland to Port Vila and AVN8010 Port Vila to Sydney.

Airwork took delivery of 737-476(F) N934NZ in Brisbane on January 31 after the aircraft ferried in from Dothan/Alabama via Oakland, Honolulu and Pago Pago. The 737-476 which was previously operated by Qantas as VH-TJI was converted to a freighter while at Dothan. 737-476(F) ZK-TLK ex N934NZ was registered to Airwork Flight Operations of Auckland on February 3.

737-476(F) ZK-PAK ex N944NZ (Traffic/January) was registered to Airwork on December 9 and entered service on December 15 when it operated PST73 from Auckland to Christchurch.

Alliance ferried Fokker 100 VH-FKA as SXI1602 departed Perth for Halim on January 30 and onwards ports to Bratislava for planned maintenance.

Fokker 100 VH-XWQ carried Moose Air decals to operate a special charter from Essendon to Hobart and return on December 18 for the Melbourne based company Moose Toys.

Cobham Aviation withdrew BAe 146-100 VH-NJC from service on January 6 after it operated JTE959 from Granny Smith to Perth. VH-NJC was then ferried from Perth to Adelaide on January 10 as JTE5500 where the aircraft will reportedly be reduced to produce.

Fiji Airways took delivery of A330-343 DQ-FJW Island of Rotuma in Nadi on December 29 after the aircraft ferried in from Toulouse via Hong Kong as FJI2002. A330-243 DQ-FJW which is the first of type in the Fiji Airways fleet entered service on January 6 when it operated FJI411 from Nadi to Auckland.

Nauru Airlines took delivery of 737-319 VH-XNU in Brisbane on January 28 after ferrying in from Seletar and Darwin as RON801. VH-XNU which previously operated with Air New Zealand as ZK-NGJ entered service on January 31 as RON2 from Brisbane to Nauru.

Tasman Cargo ferried their 757-236(F) VH-TCA as flight TMN91 from Auckland to Sydney and Seletar on December 26 for planned maintenance. To cover their operations Tasman Cargo leased DHL 757-236(F) G-BMRI c/s World Express 1 Papa with the aircraft arriving Auckland on January 7 from Singapore and Sydney. 757-236(F) G-BMRI entered service with Tasman Cargo on January 11 as TMN1 from Auckland to Sydney.

Virgin Group news

Virgin Australia placed 737-8BK VH-VOX in storage at Melbourne on September 2 ’15 however on December 17 it returned to service when it operated VOZ309 from Melbourne to Brisbane. Return to service however was to be short lived as on December 28 VH-VOX was again withdrawn after operating VOZ981 from Sydney to Brisbane. On January 4 VH-VOX as VOZ9941 ferried from Brisbane to Jakarta so it will be interesting to see if this aircraft returns to service with Virgin Australia or has terminated its lease.

737-8FE VH-VOY which was placed in storage at Melbourne on November 30 was returned to service on January 29 when it operated VOZ815 from Melbourne to Sydney. The following day VH-VOY was again withdrawn after operating VOZ888 from Sydney to Melbourne. On January VH-VOY ferried from Melbourne to Seletar as VOZ9941.

737-8FE VH-VOR which has been transferred to Tigerair operations was withdrawn from service on January 31 after operating VOZ1496 from Hamilton Island to Brisbane.

VH-VOR was then ferried from Brisbane to Townsville as VOZ9901 where on arrival the aircraft entered the Flying Colours hangar to be painted in Tigerair colours (see Tigerair below for further news.

737-8FE VH-VOT was ferried from Perth to Seletar as VOZ9941 on January 7 for planned maintenance. VH-VOT as VOZ9942 returned to Perth from Seletar on February 1.

A330-243 VH-XFC as VOZ9943 ferried from Perth to Singapore on January 11 for planned maintenance. VH-XFC as VOZ9942 returned to Perth from Singapore on January 23 on completion of its maintenance.

A330-243 VH-XFD as VOZ9943 was ferried from Melbourne to Paya Lebar on January 30 for planned maintenance.

E190-100IGW VH-ZPA as VOZ9901 departed Brisbane on January 1 for Apia, Honolulu and Van Nuys to Nashville for planned maintenance. VH-ZPA as VOZ9902 returned to Brisbane on January 3 over the outbound route.

E190-100IGW VH-ZPC as VOZ9902 returned to Brisbane on December 24 after completion of maintenance with the routing via Van Nuys, Honolulu and Apia.

Virgin Australia Regional Airlines withdrew Fokker 50 VH-FND from service on January 9 after the aircraft operated VOZ2633 from Esperance to Perth.

Fokker 50 VH-FSL was withdrawn from service on January 18 after operating VOZ2639 from Esperance to Perth.

VH-FND and VH-FSL which still carry the Skywest livery join Fokker 50 VH-FNA and Fokker 50 VH-FNB in storage at Perth.

Fokker 50 VH-FNF operated its final service from Brisbane on December 30 after arriving from Emerald. On January 5 VH-FNF ferried from Brisbane to Alice Springs and Perth from where it recommenced flying on January 7.

Fokker 100 VH-FNN as VOZ9940 ferried from Perth on December 18 to Port Hedland and Seletar for planned maintenance.

ATR 72-500 VH-FVZ which was damaged in a storm at Moranbah on November 16 was ferried to Brisbane as VOZ9904 on December 22. ATR 72-500 VH-FVZ returned to service with Virgin Regional in mid-January.

ATR 72-500 VH-FVX as VOZ9903 ferried from Brisbane to Alice Springs and Port Hedland on December 11 and after over-nighting continued to Seletar for planned maintenance. VH-FVX as VOZ9904 ferried over the reverse route on January 4/5.

ATR 72-500 VH-FVU as VOZ9904 ferried from Seletar to Port Hedland, Alice Springs and Brisbane on December 13/14 on completion of planned maintenance.

Tigerair took delivery of their second 737-8FE VH-VOR in Melbourne on February 7 after the aircraft which now carried Tigerair colours ferried in from Townsville as VOZ9930.

A320-232 VH-VNJ is the final aircraft in the Tigerair fleet still carrying the colours of Tiger Airways.

Regional airline news

In this issue we report the delivery of an ATR 72-600C to PNG Air an ATR 72-600 to Air Tahiti, two Saab 340B to Regional Express and a Cessna 208 to Air Milford.

Ad Astral Aviation Services cancelled Beech 1900C VH-VOA from the register on January 6 however the aircraft was still parked at Jandakot as of late January.

Air Milford took delivery of Cessna 208 N208NZ msn 20800581 in Auckland on February 5 after the aircraft ferried in from Merced/CA via Honolulu and Pago Pago.

The Cessna 208 was later registered to Air Milford as ZK-SKM.

Air South ferried Beech 1900D VH-YBH from Adelaide to Forrest and Jandakot on December 1 where on arrival the aircraft was prepared for operations with Fly Orana (see below). Air South Beech 1900D VH-ZOA was ferried from Adelaide to Kalgoorlie and Jandakot on November 30 to later commence services for Fly Orana.

Air Tahiti ferried new production ATR 72-600 F-ORVO msn 1289 from Kuala Lumpur to Denpasar, Cairns and Nadi between December 7 and 9.

Fly Orana placed Beech 1900D VH-YBH into service on December 17 when it operated a flight from Perth to Meekatharra.

Hevilift ferried DHC-6-300 P2-KSI from Port Moresby to Cairns on September 29 for maintenance and on completion P2-KSI departed Cairns for Port Moresby on January 10.

Par Avion ceased RPT services on the Melbourne/Essendon to Griffith route on January 18 with Cessna 404 VH-CCN operating the final flight on the route. VH-CCN was ferried from Essendon to Hobart/Cambridge on January 20.

PNG Air took delivery of ATR 72-600C P2-ATA at Port Moresby on December 23 after the aircraft ferried in from Kupang.

Dash 8-102 P2-MCT was rolled out at Cairns on December 3 in the new PNG Air colour scheme and on December 4 it ferried from Cairns to Port Moresby as TOK801.

Regional Express took delivery of Saab 340B N302AG msn 402 at Wagga Wagga on December 16 after the aircraft completed its ferry flight from Bangor/Maine via Menomonie/Wisconsin, Renton, Hilo, Apia, Gold Coast and Orange. The Saab 340B was later registered VH-ZXG to Regional Express on January 11.

Saab 340B N420XJ msn 420 was delivered to Regional Express in Adelaide on December 23 after the aircraft completed its ferry flight from Bangor/Maine via Menomonie/Wisconsin, Renton, Hilo, Apia, Gold Coast and Orange. The Saab 340B was later registered VH-ZXK to Regional Express on January 11.

Sharp Airlines became the registered operator of the former Brindabella Airlines Metro 111 VH-OZV on January 22.
Skytrans who have had Dash 8-311 VH-QQM in storage at Cairns since October 29 ’14 test flew the aircraft there on January 24.

Bizjet news

In this issue we report the delivery of a Challenger 604 and a Citation Encore while a Hawker 800XP and a Citation Bravo were removed from the register.

Challenger 604 VH-XNC was registered on January 29 with the holder Cobham SAR Services P/L of Adelaide airport, SA and the operator Surveillance Australia. The Challenger 604 then registered C-FIDT was delivered to Cobham in Adelaide on December 30 with the aircraft crossing the Pacific from Vancouver via Kona and Nadi.

Challenger 604 C-FMUS msn 5647 was registered to Cobham SAR Services on November 9 ’15.

Citation Encore VH-YUL 560-0553 ex G-KDMA which was registered to the Yulgibar Pastoral Company P/L of Montmorency, Victoria on January 13 was delivered to Bankstown on February 2 from Bandar Seri Begawan, Darwin and Longreach.

Citation Bravo VH-FGK of the Yulgibar Pastoral Company which sustained damage at Lismore on September 25 ‘15 was cancelled from the register on January 22.

Hawker 800XP VH-VRC which was operated by Sunshine Air Services of Mt Waverley, VIC was cancelled from the register on January 25 on its sale in Mexico. The Hawker 800XP VH-VRC was last reported departing Essendon on December 11 for Norfolk Island and Apia.

Challenger 604 VH-VRE changed its registered holder on January 11 from Wellard Aviation of Fremantle to WGH Aviation P/L of Fremantle, WA.

Challenger 601-1A VH-MXK changed its registered holder and operator on January 5 from Blissett Holdings of South Perth to MWP Racing P/L of Mt Gravatt, Queensland.

Citation 11 VH-FYP changed its registered operator on January 20 from Skypac Aviation to Hope Estate Events P/L of Pokolbin, NSW.

Global Express VP-BJI arrived Melbourne from Halim on January 31 before returning there on February 2.

Global Express VP-CCK arrived Melbourne from Hong Kong on December 19 before continuing to Sydney on December 22. VP-CCK departed Sydney for Hong Kong on December 28.

Global Express VP-CCN arrived Melbourne from Hong Kong on January 6 before returning there on January 10.

Global 5000 VP-BCY arrived Melbourne from Kuala Lumpur on December 9 before continuing to Sydney on December 16. VP-BCY departed Sydney for Kuala Lumpur on December 19.

TAG Aviation Asia Challenger 605 M-AAAA as TBJ39 arrived in Perth from Seletar on December 31 before returning there on January 3.

Swiss Air Ambulance Challenger 604 as SAZ243 transited Cairns on January 23 while en-route from Kuala Lumpur to Christchurch.

Swiss Air Ambulance Challenger 604 HB-JRB transited Cairns on December 18 while en-route from Kuala Lumpur to Christchurch.

FAI rent-a-jet Learjet 60 D-CFAN as IFA1047 arrived Brisbane from Seletar and Darwin on January 19 and the following day departed to Darwin and Seletar.

AeroWest Sovereign D-CAWB arrived at the Gold Coast from Don Muang and Darwin on January 10 before returning to Darwin and Don Muang on January 11.

US Navy Citation Ultra/UC-35A 96-0109 call sign Ninja 73 arrived in Darwin from Dili on January 24 before continuing to Port Hedland and Perth on January 25. The UC-35A departed Perth on January 30 for Alice Springs and Darwin.

Falcon 7X N37TY as SJE37 arrived in Sydney from Kona on December 27 before continuing to Melbourne on January 31. N37TY departed Melbourne for Christchurch on February 2.

Falcon 7X N716CG arrived Sydney from Honolulu on December 24 and later visited Hobart and Hamilton Island before departing Cairns for Honolulu on January 2.

Shenghong Group Falcon 7X B-8203 as DER501 transited Cairns on December 12 while en-route from Shanghai to Auckland. The Falcon 7X as DER502 arrived at the Gold Coast from Auckland on December 15 and was later seen at Melbourne before departing Sydney for Shanghai on December 22.

Falcon 7X VP-CTG arrived Sydney from Hong Kong on January 9 before returning there on January 11.

Kendall Jackson Wine Estates Falcon 900 N900KJ arrived at the Gold Coast from Nadi on January 5 and later visited Sydney and Adelaide before departing Essendon for Auckland on January 15.

Falcon 2000EX N888MX arrived Essendon from Kuala Lumpur and Darwin on December 23 before continuing to Sydney on December 28. N888MX departed Sydney for Kupang on January 2.

ACM Air Charter Falcon 2000EX D-BIKA as BVR777 arrived Perth from Seletar on December 3 before continuing to Sydney on December 4. The Falcon 2000EX departed Sydney for Queenstown on December 5.

Embraer Lineage 1000 N666GL arrived Sydney from Beijing and Darwin on December 22 before operating a return flight to Melbourne on December 24. N666GL departed Sydney for Port Vila on January 3.

Lineage 1000 N889ML arrived Brisbane from Macau on December 27 before continuing to Sydney on December 30. N889ML departed Sydney for Macau on January 2.

Al Jabar Aviation Lineage 1000 A6-AJI transited Cairns on January 21 while en-route from Manila to Auckland.

Ferry flights

Pacific Helicopters H-145 P2-PHA arrived in Cairns from Ingham and Townsville on December 20 and departed to Cooktown on December 26.

AW-169 VH-FOX msn 69009 was registered to Fox Helicopters on December 18 however when the AW-169 arrived at Essendon on December 21 from the Melbourne docks it was noted to be carrying the registration I-RIAS.

Baron G58 N2449M in company with Baron G58 N2450J (Traffic/Jan-Feb) continued their ferry flight from the United States to Indonesia on December 5 when they departed Cairns for Surabaya.

Baron G58 VH-PZA departed Albury for Coffs Harbour and Norfolk Island on January 28 and after overnighting continued to Pago Pago.

Pacific Helicopters Bell 212 P2-PAT ferried from Goroka to Horn Island on December 4 before continuing to Port Douglas and Cairns on December 6.

Stearman N56200 which was re-enacting a flight from the UK to Australia arrived at Truscott from Kupang on January 1 and was later seen at Alice Springs and Ayers Rock before arriving in Sydney from Richmond on January 9.

Airwork (NZ) BK-117 B-2 ZK-HQB which departed the Brisbane docks for Maroochydore on December 29 was later noted departing Cairns for Cooktown on December 31.

CASA 212 VH-MQE which was operated by the Military Support Services of Cotton Tree, Queensland was cancelled from the register on December 23. The CASA 212 which has been parked at Archerfield since July 2013 was noted there on January 25 now registered N217BH to Bighorn Airways of Sheridan, Wyoming. N217BH ferried from Archerfield to the Gold Coast on January 29 and later continued to Nadi-Pago Pago-Christmas Island and Hilo.

Cessna 208B VH-OUS 208B0643 which was registered to SF Aviation of Condell Park, NSW on December 8 arrived in Broome from Denpasar and Kupang on December 18. On arrival the Cessna 208B was noted to be carrying the colours of its previous operator Sky Aviation.

Gateway Air Center Cessna 208B N2137P arrived at Townsville on February 5 from Merced via Honolulu and Majuro. N2137P departed Townsville for Goulburn on February 6.

Suzi Air Cessna 208B PK-VVH which arrived at Essendon on April 15 ’15 departed on January 29 for Brisbane, Rockhampton, Cairns and Merauke (arrive January 30).

Sander Geophysics Cessna 208B C-GSGA which had been a long time resident at Jandakot departed there on January 26 for Port Hedland, Kununurra, Darwin and Kupang (arrive Jan 29).

Gateway Air Center Cessna 208 N239FQ 20800239 arrived at the Gold Coast on February after completing its Trans-Pacific crossing from Merced/CA via Honolulu, Majuro and Honiara. N239FQ departed the Gold Coast for Wollongong on February 2.

Cessna 208/FP N368BF msn 20800577 arrived at Bankstown on January 22 from Kuala Namu/North Sumatra and Broome. The Cessna 208/FP had earlier departed Wichita on January 14 for Bangor/Maine and Santa Maria.

Cessna T240 N362CS arrived at Darwin from Kupang on December 2.

Cirrus SR-22 N298KB completed its Trans-Pacific crossing at the Gold Coast on January 23 after ferrying in from Santa Maria/California, Kahului and Pago Pago.

DHC-6-400/FP N153QS 869 arrived in Brisbane from Noumea/La Tontouta on December 19 and after overnighting continued to Cairns. On December 21 N153QS departed for Groote Eylandt and Darwin before continuing to Ambon the following day.

N153QS returned to Darwin on December 29.

Fournier RF-5 OE-9224 arrived in Darwin from Kupang on January 3.

Airvan 8 VH-ACZ arrived at Bankstown on December 3 after ferrying in from Kupang, via Truscott, Darwin, Gove, Weipa, Cairns, Mareeba, Mackay, Gladstone, Coffs Harbour and Nambucca Heads.

PA-28RT-201T ZK-LGL departed Kerikeri for Norfolk Island, Lord Howe Island and Camden on December 20.

Airbus Industries A340-300 F-WWAI as AIB781 arrived in Darwin from Kuala Lumpur on January 11. The A340-300 which was researching a High Altitude Ice Crystals Project then based itself in Darwin until January 21 when it departed for Reunion.

Qatar Amiri Flight A340-313X A7-AAH as QAF9 arrived in Sydney from Doha on December 31 before returning to Doha on January 1.

Royal Air Force A400M ZM406 as Ascot 4024 arrived in Cairns from Bandar Seri Begawan on December 10. The A-400M later visited Sydney and Hobart before departing Darwin for Paya Lebar on December 14.

Ukraine Air Antonov An-12BP UR-CGW call sign Ukraine Alliance 4042 arrived in Brisbane from Denpasar on December 9. The An-12BP then operated a series of charter from Brisbane to Honiara and Nauru. On December 24 the An-12BP departed Brisbane for Honiara and Nauru before continuing the following day to Chuuk, Guam and Manila
Singapore Airlines 777-212(ER) 9V-SVA as SQ8877 arrived at Alice Springs from Singapore where on arrival it was placed in storage.

Mid East Jet 757-24Q N757MA arrived in Sydney from Kuala Lumpur on December 26 before returning there on December 28. N757MA later transited Cairns on January 28 while en-route from Kota Kinabalu to Papeete before returning through Cairns on February 1 from Papeete to Kota Kinabalu.

Thomson Airways 757-28A G-OOBD as TOM984 arrived in Cairns from Apia on January 4 and departed to Siem Reap on January 6. G-OOBD returned to Cairns from Apia as TOM985 on January 29.

TAG Aviation UK 757-2K2 G-TCSX as VIP611 arrived in Cairns from Apia on January 12 and departed to Siem Reap on January 14. G-TCSX as VIP612 later arrived in Sydney from Papeete on February 2 before continuing to Denpasar on February 5.

Air China 737-79L/BBJ B-3999 as BJN99 arrived in Sydney from Hong Kong on January 26 and departed to Shanghai on January 30.

Nanshan Jet 737-7GJ/BBJ B-5286 arrived in Sydney from Don Muang on January 21 and departed to Shanghai on January 23.

Royal Air Force Boeing C-17A ZZ176 call sign Ascot 6342 arrived in Perth from Diego Garcia on December 7 before departing to Whenuapai on December 9. ZZ176 arrived in Adelaide from Whenuapai on December 10 before continuing to Woomera and Perth on December 11.

Heligroup Fire Boeing CH-47D N947CH arrived at Camden on December 20 after ferrying in from the Melbourne docks, Essendon and Albury. The CH-47D was later allocated the fire attack code 279.

China United CRJ-200BLR B-4010 arrived Essendon for planned maintenance on January 21 from Kota Kinabalu, Darwin and Cairns.

China United CRJ-200BLR B-4007 departed Essendon December 3 for Cairns, Darwin and Kota Kinabalu.

Volga Dnepr Il-76TD-90VD RA-76951 as VDA4760 arrived in Port Hedland from Johor Bahru on December 6 and departed to Hong Kong on December 11.

Safair Lockheed 100-30 ZS-JIV departed Christchurch for Adelaide and Port Hedland on December 9 before continuing to Kuala Lumpur on December 10.

Erickson S-64E N164AC/747 Incredible Hulk arrived at Essendon from the Melbourne docks on December 20 and the following day departed for Mount Gambier and Brukunga where it will be based for the remainder of the fire season.
