New stripes aim to change perceptions of Tigerair
Peter says: I have flown Tigerair and I think the one thing a new uniform won’t fix is the total lack of leg room. Jetstar gives you enough room to at least move your knees a little where on Tiger your knees are firmly stuck in the seat in front. I hope that Tiger with the new approach will take comfort into consideration because that’s the one area that makes me use Jetstar. The staff and flight attendants have been fantastic every time I have flown Tiger, it’s the lack of room that kills the experience.

Would be good if they could commit to more services internationally using the 737 from Perth, plenty of opportunities such as Bali, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, or get creative and try a new market: Kota Kinibalu, Lombok, Dili, Yogjakarta, Langkawi, Brunei, Maldives.

Bob says: Two points: I worked on acquisition of land for the second Sydney Airport (Badgerys Creek) in the early to mid 1980s. Sorry, I have no compassion for people who purchased under potential flightpaths in the intervening 30-plus years assuming it might not happen.
Secondly, anyone who thinks the existing Sydney Airport does not have serious congestion issues regularly at peak periods does not fly.
