What’s in a name?
A ‘new’ face on the block
In 1958, a group of pilots and business owners were brought together by the Commonwealth Departments of Agriculture and Civil Aviation with two objectives – to improve safety in agricultural aviation and to improve government regulation.
Over the intervening 57 years, the Aerial Agricultural Association of Australia has grown to be a leading aviation organisation that has pioneered a range of features of the modern aerial application industry, including improved training, better management, significantly improved environmental performance and the evolution of pilots from ‘cropdusters’ to professional applicators.
