New book offers something for every pilot

Pilot, author and Australian Aviation contributor Owen Zupp has written a four-volume series called The Practical Pilot aimed at those “yearning to fly, learning to fly or revisiting lessons from long ago”.

The first volume looks at what being the “Pilot in Command” involves and covers topics such as flying the aircraft, the approach, landing and diversions, among others, has been released.
