John Vincent has been named as the new president of the Australian Division of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
A 40-year veteran of the aviation industry, including roles with the Air Pacific, Ansett and Qantas, Vincent takes over from AIRCDRE Noel Schmidt AM CSC (Ret.). He will be in the role for the next two years.

The aeronautical engineer, Vincent is currently an adjunct professor with the University of NSW School of Aviation. He also sits on the board of Qantas Foundation Memorial Ltd and offers consultancy services to the aviation and broader engineering sector.
