Sydney Airport has promoted Hugh Wehby to the position of chief financial officer.
Wehby, who was previously head of strategy and capital projects at Sydney Airport, takes up his new position on Monday, the company said in a statement.

He replaces Stephen Mentzines, who resigned in August.
Sydney Airport chief executive Kerrie Mather said it was pleasing to have appointed an internal candidate following an extensive local and international search for a new CFO.
“We are delighted to welcome Hugh to the executive committee, where his experience and track record of delivery will ensure a strong contribution to the growth at Sydney Airport,” Mather said in a statement.
