Economic directions statement a new approach for airport development
Although little reported and dismissed by some sceptics, the ‘Economic Directions Statement Queensland Airports 2013-2023’ released last November offers a comprehensive new approach to the convoluted airport development/preservation problem at a national level.
It parallels Queensland’s Attracting Aviation Investment Fund, and the Australian Airports Association’s recent submission to the Productivity Commission makes similar points.
