Qatar Airways has placed a firm order for five new A330-200 Freighters. Included in the order are eight additional A330-200F options, bringing the potential total to 13 aircraft. The airline already operates three A330-200Fs, which began services with the airline earlier this year, on a rapidly growing network that includes more than 40 routes that have dedicated freighter services.
Airbus sees a potentially strong market for the A330 freighter with the replacement of the ageing mid-size freighter fleet.
