Embraer has announced improvements for its E190 airliner-based Lineage 1000 business jet, which thanks to a 230kg weight reduction boasts a 200nm increase in range.
The weight savings come from removing the forward service door, removing blanked-over window cutouts and other tweaks such as lighter cabinetry, yielding a 4440nm range at high-speed cruise or 4,600nm at Mach 0.78. The Lineage 1000E also features a redesigned five-zone cabin interior and Honeywell’s Ovation Select inflight entertainment and cabin management system.
