Register review
Forty-three aircraft are listed in the New Allocations section this month, more than twice the number of deletions. Only one new type is listed, the Whiskey IV.
Warren Canning’s Whiskey IV OHW is the first of its type on the local register and is an all-wood, tandem two seater with a fixed tail-wheel and a 2180cc Aero Vee engine. Warren has also incorporated modifications in the aircraft including an inverted flight fuel system. The Whisky was designed by Giuseppe Vidor who is probably the most prolific amateur-build aircraft designer in Italy with aircraft such as the Alpi Pioneer range, the Super Emeraude and the Asso Jewell, Champion and Junior models to his name.
