New delays for MRH, ARH
2012 was set to be a big year for helicopters in the Australian Defence Force. Navy’s MRH was due to achieve IOC, while Army was gaining a better understanding of the platform.
The ARH Tiger would test itself at Operation Hamel, meet the requirements for Final Materiel Release and a substantial Operational Concept Milestone (OCM2), and Defence would take ownership of two extra Deltamodel Chinook helicopters.
