Codeshare arrangements between Virgin Australia and Singapore Airlines from Adelaide are being extended to 12 destinations in Europe and the UK. Subject to regulatory approval, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London, Manchester, Milan, Moscow, Munich, Paris, Rome and Zurich will be added, with reciprocal lounge and frequent flyer benefits applying to the new services.
Virgin Australia Group Executive of Alliances, Network and Yield, Merren McArthur, said: “Singapore Airlines currently offers 10 flights a week from Adelaide to Singapore, meaning Virgin Australia customers will have access to the greatest frequency of flights of any international airline from Adelaide.” Singapore Airlines has served the market for nearly 30 years.
