With eight million residents, Jetstar says Hainan is a significant potential source of tourists for WA, while the new service will also connect Western Australians to Hainan’s beaches, tropical rainforests and hot springs.
“Working with partners to create new connections and encouraging new travel demand through low fares is key to Jetstar’s strategy to growing in Asia,” Jetstar Asia acting CEO Paul Daff said.
Flights depart Perth at 12:05 am on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, returning from Haikou at 12:50 pm. Jetstar is offering promotional one-way fares from $289.
