herit-age well with the cabin cross-section being the same size as the Citation X. However, with the exception of the forward fuselage/cockpit, the structural design is new. Its supercritical wing is key to its rapid climb and good performance at altitude, but its moderate sweep also gives docile handling at low speed and low stall speeds. Power is from two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW306C turbofans which pro-duce 5,770lb (25. 7kN) of thrust and are FADEC equipped. The cockpit features a Honeywell EPIC avionics system with four 8×10 inch LCD displays. The Sovereign’s roomy cabin has a dropped aisle, giving a height from floor to roof of 1. 73m. The interior cabin is 7. 70m long and 1. 68m wide. The Sovereign has eight individual seats in a double-club arrangement with an addi-tional side-facing seat in the forward cabin. Cessna quotes a maximum cruise speed of 458kt and a maximum range of 2,847nm (5,273km).
