Century Tokyo buys stake in Jetstar Japan

Century Tokyo Leasing Corp will buy a stake a 16.7 per cent stake in Jetstar Japan.

Century Tokyo Leasing Corp will buy a 16.7 per cent share in Jetstar Japan from Mitsubishi, the Japanese Nikkei reported.

Mitsubishi currently owns a 33.4 per cent stake in the start up budget carrier, which is scheduled to commence flights in July. Qantas and Japan Airlines each own 33.3 per cent of the carrier.

Century Tokyo operates aircraft leasing and rental car businesses.
