The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has issued type certification for the Sukhoi Superjet 100, the first ever Russian passenger jet to receive EASA CS-25 certification.
The SSJ100 received type certification from the Russian Certification Authority in January 2011. Six of the 100-seat regional jets are currently in service with Armenia’s Armavia Airlines and Russia’s Aeroflot.

Indonesian regional carrier PT Sky Aviation has ordered 12 of the aircraft, which were developed and built by Russia’s Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) in partnership with Alenia Aermacchi.
