Aerial Ag – Safety systems a focus of new manual

It’s one thing to be safe once, but you need a system to be safe all the time.

That is the thinking behind the new edition of the Aerial Application Pilots Manual developed by the AAAA with the support of CASA and ATSB.

‘Safer thinking systems’ is a new chapter that pulls together a lot of the often disparate approaches to aviation safety, trying to emphasise to aerial application pilots that the ability to repeat quality actions is a key to aviation safety.
