Russia’s NordStar Airlines has placed an order for three ATR 42-600 turboprops. The deal comes on top of an order for two ATR 42-600s placed earlier this year that included an option on two more. The seven aircraft are valued at US$132 million.
The Toulouse, France based ATR, a partnership between Alenia Aeronautica and Airbus parent EADS, says it has sold a record 148 turboprops this year with options for 72 additional aircraft.
