Virgin Australia has detailed its schedule for its new flights to the Queensland regional centre of Emerald, with twice daily weekday flights due to begin on January 16 2012.
Virgin Australia 68-seat ATR 72s will operate morning and afternoon flights twice daily between Brisbane and Emerald during the week, plus afternoon flights on Sundays.

The airline says that weekday morning flights from Brisbane will depart at 5.45am, arriving in Emerald at 7.40am, with the return flight departing Emerald at 8.10am, arriving in Brisbane at 9.55am; while afternoon flights will depart Brisbane at 4.00pm, arriving in Emerald at 5.55pm; with a return flight departing Emerald at 6.25pm, arriving in Brisbane at 8.10pm.
