First 787 for ANA rolled out ahead of September service entry
The first 787 planned to be delivered to launch customer ANA was rolled out of the paintshop at Boeing’s Everett facilities on August 6 ahead of its service entry in September.
The 787, ZA101 registered JA801A, wears a special livery to celebrate its historic role as the first 787 to enter revenue service, which will occur this month when it operates a revenue charter flight between Tokyo and Hong Kong.
The aircraft is fitted with a two-class, approximately 200 seat interior for short and medium haul operations.
