Keeping Army helicopters fuelled and armed

Australian Army Aviation (AAAvn) Corps groundcrewmen play a critical role in being able to sustain helicopter operations during a high pressure, high threat combat scenario.

A groundcrewman for the past eight years, CPL Brian Mahoney speaks highly of the role, which can see him do anything from setting up a Forward Arming and Refuelling Point (FARP) for incoming Black Hawks to arming an ARH Tiger with Hellfi re missiles.
