Russian flagship carrier Aeroflot completed its first Sukhoi Superjet 100 commercial flight on June 16.
Superjet S/N 95008 operated Aeroflot’s maiden flight, taking off from Moscow’s Sheremetyevo International Airport at 9:10 am local time and landing at Pulkovo International Airport in St Petersburng at 10:40am, with a host of government and company officials onboard.

Aeroflot has ordered a total of 30 SSJ100s, with plans to purchase a further 10 more at a later date. The Superjet entered service with launch customer Armavia Airlines in April.
