Airbus delivered the 50th customer A380 on June 16, with the milestone aircraft (MSN058, registered 9V-SKL) handed over to Singapore Airlines.
Singapore Airlines was the first airline to place the A380 into service, in 2007, and now has taken delivery of 12 of the type.

Airbus says so far in 2011 it has delivered nine A380s – three each to Qantas and Lufthansa and Qantas, and single examples to Singapore Airlines, Air France and Korean Air.
Meanwhile, Korean Air placed the A380 into service on June 17, with flight ‘KE380’ taking off from Seoul’s Incheon International Airport at 09h10 local time bound for Tokyo Narita.
