The CSIRO has been internationally recognised by Boeing as one of its top suppliers worldwide, following the scientific research agency’s acceptance of a Leader’s Choice award for Academia.
Selected from criteria based on statistical measurements of quality, on-time delivery, post-delivery support, cost and an ability to adapt to changing customer requirements in 2010, the CSIRO was one of 16 companies announced as winners of Boeing’s Supplier of the Year awards, held in Seattle this week. The final 16 companies were chosen from pool of more than 17,500 Boeing suppliers throughout over 50 countries.
