Chile based LAN Airlines has signed a firm order for 50 Airbus A320 Family aircraft, including A321s, confirming an order announced as a Memorandum of Understanding at the Farnborough Airshow in July. Aircraft to be delivered under the order from 2013 will be fitted with the new ‘sharklet’ winglets.
