Surveillance & Response Group
The RAAF’s Surveillance and Response Group (SRG) is, as its name suggests, the RAAF’s Force Element Group (FEG) not only responsible for the bulk of the ADF’s airborne Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) work, but also land and air based battle space management, either at home in Australia and its immediate areas of interest, or in deployed scenarios.
With the motto ‘Foremost Sentinel’, the group is comprised of four wings and a headquarters, and is arguably the RAAF’s most widely dispersed FEG with elements located at every flying base as well as several deployed locations around the globe.
