“This is the first major overhaul of our facilities at Brisbane Domestic Terminal since we moved in more than 10 years ago,” group executive operations Sean Donohue said. “There are more than 15,000 guests and visitors to this terminal every day. Brisbane remains one of our busiest airports with more than 145 flights each day and is a hub for regional and international connections. When the renovations are complete, our guests will enjoy spending time in the terminal where the surroundings are modern and fresh along with better access to areas such as baggage collection.”
The airline said disruption would be kept to a minimum during the work, which should be complete by the end of March.
