The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) has notified Congress of a possible sale of 60 AH-64D Block III Apache attack helicopters to the UAE.
The sale, valued at $US5 billion, comprises 30 helicopters which will be remanufactured from AH-64D Block II airframes and 30 new build airframes, 120 GE T700 engines, sensors including 70 longbow radars, electronic warfare self protection equipment, weapons, spare parts, training and logistics.
