Celebrating 90 years of the Qantas story

As one of the oldest carriers in the world, Qantas has been influential in shaping the industry, while for most Australians it has also been influential in shaping a nation and its identity.

Since its establishment in November 1920, initially in Winton, the airline has survived numerous challenges including early problems with equipment, a world war, major changes to regulations and nu-merous economic shocks to become one of the most respected companies in Australia and the world.
