Gulfstream has announced that the FAA has formally certified its large cabin aircraft as being Stage 4 noise compliant.
The certification applies to the G550, G500, G450, G350, GV and GIV families, which Gulfstream says have always been Stage 4 compliant, but have now been formally certified as meeting the ICAO’s Stage 4 noise requirements through an aircraft service change. It says that this may allow some operators to avoid operational restrictions being considered at some airports around the world, as well as lower usage charges.
