Canadian manufacturer Bombardier has delivered the 1000th example of its Dash 8/Q-series airliners and the 400th Global series business jet.
The 1000th Dash 8 aircraft, a Q400 to Pinnacle Airlines, is the latest of a line started with the original Dash 8-100 series and which has since evolved into the stretched -200 and -300, the Q200 and Q300 which feature quietened cabins, and the substantially enhanced Q400 line.
