The airline business is all about passion and going the extra mile, not profit because industry wide there isn’t any money to be made worth banking on.
It was passion that drove Paul “Ginty” McGuinness, an adventurous and skillful pilot, and his observer/gunner, Wilmot Hudson Fysh and their friend, and pilot Wilfred Arthur Baird to form an airline to defeat the tyranny of distance.
