Qantas has lodged an application with the ISAC requesting an extension to the codeshare arrangements between JAL and Jetstar for a further two years from December 31, albeit with changes.
Specifically, it requests that the IASC remove the authorisation of JAL to codeshare on the Sydney-Gold Coast leg of Jetstar’s Sydney-Gold Coast-Osaka services, while it also seeks permission for JAL to codeshare on Jetstar’s Cairns-Osaka and Tokyo-Gold Coast services.
