Brindabella Airlines has announced that it will end its Port Macquarie-Brisbane services at the end of the year, citing poor patronage.
“The demand we experienced at the outset has dropped off to the extent we can no longer sustain services to the area,” CEO Jeff Boyd told Port Macquarie News.

The last Port Macquarie-Brisbane service will be flown on December 31, with the current 12 times weekly schedule to continue up to then. Passengers booked on services after December 31 will be reimbursed.
Despite the cut to Brisbane flights, Brindabella has confirmed that it will retain its services on the Port Macquarie-Coffs Harbour route.
