Boeing Business Jets has announced the first certification and installation of the Panasonic Avionics eXConnect inflight high speed broadband system on a 737BBJ.
The system utilises a fuselage mounted antenna and a global network of satellites to provide connectivity at speeds up to 50Mbps, which Boeing says is faster than tail-mounted antennas used on other business aircraft.
