Ansett to add King Air 350 simulator

Ansett Aviation Training (AAT) will add a FlightSafety full flight King Air 350 simulator to its extensive operations.

The new simulator will be installed at its Melbourne Training Centre during the second half of 2011 and will feature the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 Integrated Avionics System and will also be available to King Air 200 aircraft operators for differences training. The simulator will be equipped with FlightSafety’s VITAL visual system and electric motion and control loading technology.

“The addition of FlightSafety’s King Air 350 training and simulator supports and strengthens our commitment and ability to provide our customers with the highest quality programs and equipment available” said David Gilmour, managing director of AAT.

AAT is the largest simulator training facility in the southern hemisphere servicing Australian and international airlines providing simulators and training solutions for the A320, BAe 146, 737, Dash 8, EMB-120, Fokker 100, King Air 200, Metro III/23, Saab 340 and A320.
