Fokkers fly on in Australia

Although they are both long out of production, Australia’s growing fleet of Fokker aircraft are testament to the advanced design and of the Dutch manufacturer.

While the last Fokker 50 (F50) turboprops and Fokker 100 (F100) jets were completed in 1997 following the bankruptcy of Fokker in 1996, nowadays the two types play an important role in transporting thousands or mine workers and regional fare paying passengers every day.
