Clears key hurdle, BAMS develops

The USAF’s Northrop Grumman RQ‑4B Global Hawk program has cleared a key hurdle in its acquisition process by passing a US Defense Acquisitions Board (DAB) review in early July and having money released for the next Lot 9 production batch.

The DAB is a senior advisory board comprising senior US military leaders including the vice chair of the Joint Chiefs, service secretaries, and a number of undersecretaries of Defence, and is formed on an irregular basis to review major defence acquisition programs.
