Emirates has announced that it will increase capacity on its services to Brisbane and Perth, although it will cut one of its services to Sydney from November.
From November 1, one of the twice daily Dubai-Perth services will be upgraded from an Airbus A340-300 to a Boeing 777-300ER. One of the Dubai-Brisbane services will also be upgraded to the 777-300ER from January 1.

Emirates has also announced that its daily EK415/414 service to Sydney, which is flown by a 777-200LR, will be suspended from November 1, with the capacity to be allocated elsewhere in the network. It plans to restart the service from the start of 2011, and will operate it with a 777-300ER.
