Chief of Defence Force Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston has returned to work following a short period of leave to receive medical treatment, according to a statement from the Department of Defence.

“I am pleased to be back at work following successful prostate surgery,” ACM Houston said.

“I would like to thank all those who expressed their best wishes to me and my family during this time. I am very grateful for all the phone calls, cards, letters and emails I have received wishing me a speedy recovery.”
