Sydney’s international terminal upgrade
Sydney Airport officially opened the expansion and upgrade of its International Terminal departures area on June 11 following a three-year refurbishment of the eastern Pier B area.
The refurbishment has seen new border control, security, retail and common lounge areas added, as well as airside access to the southern Pier C via a glassed-in walkway. The airport says the upgrade will provide for a better travel experience for travellers, as well as greatly expanded retail and dining options.
