The Qatar Executive fleet is growing.

Qatar Airways announced firm orders for two Bombardier Global 5000 ultra long range business jets, valued at approximately US$90 million, at Farnborough on July 19. The jets are scheduled for delivery in October 2010 and August 2011 and will be based in Doha, for operations with the airline’s executive travel arm. Qatar Executive already operates two Challenger 605s and a Challenger 300, and CEO Akbar Al Baker also announced at Farnborough that Qatar is in talks with Bombardier to order an additional C605 for medevac transport.
