Auckland Airport has recorded a major boost in domestic passenger traffic during May as international traffic saw only a small increase.
The airport recorded a 7.1 per cent growth in domestic passengers, despite a one per cent decrease in domestic aircraft movements. International traffic managed growth of 1.3 per cent as major growth in arrivals from China, Japan and Korea helped offset falls in arrivals from Fiji, India and Australia. International aircraft movements during the month increased by 4.3 per cent.
