Emirates vice president of Australia Stephen Pearse has resigned from the airline to pursue other interests, the company announced on May 18.
Richard Jewsbury, Emirates’s senior vice president, commercial operations, Far East & Australasia said, “During Stephen’s tenure since January 2007, Emirates has significantly grown its presence in the market, with increased services to our four ports of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth as well as the introduction of new routes, new state-of-the-art aircraft, industry leading in-flight products and additional sponsorship commitments.”
