Virgin Atlantic and Hawaiian Airlines have teamed up to offer Australian travellers a round-the-world fare via Honolulu and London.
The fares will give passengers the option to fly in either an easterly or westerly direction to and from any nine destinations Virgin Atlantic flies to in the US and three gateways cities served by Hawaiian. Economy fares start from $2152 plus taxes, with business/Upper Class fares from $8400 plus taxes as well as the option for economy passengers to upgrade to premium economy on some sectors.

Separately, Hawaiian has filed an application seeking rights to operate twice daily Honolulu-Tokyo Haneda services. If approved, it expects to start operating the services in October with Boeing 767-300s and Airbus A330s.
